  Stayed here recently for Parklife and was so pleased with everything. The whole room was spotless, lots of storage space, well placed mirrors, and very clean bathroom. On top of that the breakfast was brill and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is also well situated being a 10 minute walk from Stockport station which is only a cheap/quick train ride away from central Manchester. We would definitely stay here again/recommend. For the good price cannot argue in the slightest!!

  I originally reviewed the Red Bull with 5 stars. We'd be in here most weeks on Wednesday or Thursday. For a vegetarian the choices were limited to 2, but they were done really well. Now, since the new menu was introduced (when new management took over), it seems that the main change was to reduce this to one option. I could just about cope with this (though my cholesterol level may not have been done any favours due to t he significant cheese content). The level of service has dropped off significantly over this period, and like one of teh other reviewers has stated, chef seems to rule the roost, and will happily knock off early when it suits him. I've not been in for a few months. The pair of stars are for the pub itself, and for the fine Robinson's ale that is served.
